Will credit cards co. still do a credit check after I accept a pre-approved card offer?

pre-approved is just a marketing scheme. I've heard of cases where most of the people they pre-approve get rejected. That's why I prefer to find my own cards instead of companies telling me which one i should get. Sites site below can be very useful in finding you a real nice credit card. They also have selection of cards for people with Bad or No Credit.

yes they will.  i was  at the bank getting a loan that i was preapproved for but they still needed to do a credit check.

Most cards will run a check once a year while you hold their card but those checks will not adversely affect your credit score as they don't show up as inquiries.
