  1. I take a six-pack of 16 oz water AND a six-pack of 16 oz soft drinks on board with me on every cruise, if I can get it after I clear the airport. Always whenever I drive to the cruise port.  I always just carry it on and my carry on bag goes right through the scanner.  And not one security person has ever questioned me about it.  Of course if they did they could see that's its just water and soft drinks.  I put my liquor in a flask and put the flask in with my toiletries..  Never have a problem.

Get the bottled water that's in the shrink wrap and after you pull a few out real carefully and fill them put them back in the shrink wrap.  Make sure you don't spill any liquor on anything that may keep the smell.

  2. yes one or 2 in your checked bags.  Hope they dont leak

  3. I don't drink alcohol, but I cruise, and I take sodas in my luggage all the time.  I have friends who put alcohol in soda bottles, mouthwash bottles, and water bottles.  You can put food color in the vodka and put it in a mouthwash bottle. They are the ones who have the rules about alcohol, because they want to limit access to hard liquor to supposedly have better control over behavior, but they also want that profit from the bar tab.

It's not hard to smuggle your booze on board, and the cruiseline is not going to fine you or go through every bag looking for booze.

There are thousands of suitcases being checked in, and with all the overpacking of shoes, etc., a few bottles of your beverage of choice is not going to be a problem.  The worst case scenario is they'd confiscate it and return it to you at the end of the cruise.  They are having dogs sniff the bags for drugs and explosives but not bottles of gin.  I would advise you to put them inside ziplock bags to prevent leakage and to put it in your check-in rather than taking it in carry on.  The folks facing confiscation are usually either being blatant just trying to carry on a case of wine or beer.  Wine, however, you can take to the dining room and pay a corkage fee, but there's a limit of how many bottles you can take on board.

  4. Do you mean "water bottles?"  Why is it that people who can afford to go on cruises, want to sneak alcohol  on board?    This question gets asked here all the time.    If it is found, it will be confiscated.

  5. I don't drink either but it is possible to take bottled water on in your luggage.

  6. I use check them in but no more. I do check in just pack them good. I pack 7 bottles in check in, I got them through.

  7. It's pretty easy to spot a container with a broken seal.  You might be able to sneak a few bottles on in your luggage, but too heavy a bag will raise eyebrows, and if they check, they'll find bottles with broken seals, and if it's not the cruise line but TSA or customs that catches you, you might just double the cost of your cruise...if you make it to the ship on time.

    Is it worth the risk?

  8. A lot of people do this sort of thing. They also fill mouth wash bottles too. I know it is fine to bring bottled water with you, but if the cap is not sealed, they may check. I would just put a few in my luggage instead of my carry-on stuff. They have to check several thousand bags and most likely will not bother if you have some "water bottles" in your bags.

  9. if you going on a cruise you should get some  florida flasks!

its the easiest way to smuggle alcohol on the cruise!
