Hard to say! Skirmishes ( albeit small ones) still break out where farms straddle the border, and even on the day that the checkpoint in Ledras Street in Lefkosia opened, a row broke out, and within an hour of it opening, it was closed again for a short time while they settled their differences; I think the Cypriots had taken umbrage about the presence of Turkish police!

Thinks have relaxed a little, but I think the unification issue will drag on for quite some time to come.

I can't see it happening while Turkey is in such turmoil, and that only seems to be getting worse rather than better.
