His value will definitely drop.  Without Manny to protect him at the plate, pitchers will pitch around him.  However if you're in a keeper league you might want to hold onto him.  Boston could make some off season moves to get him some more help.  Who knows maybe Bay will help him out the rest of this season.

Well he won't have his bat to protect him but he's still gonna be good. His value will drop a little, and Ryan Howard is probably a better option, especially in a keeper league.
