Will deodorant stop sweat spots under your arms?

When it's hot, my armpits sweat and it forms big sweat spots. It's no EXCESSIVE, so I don't have a sweat gland disorder or something. I bought a deodorant that says, "Used daily, this deodorant will inhibit wetness...." So does that mean it will help reduce the spots? Thanks!

Deodorants vary in strength, so the sweating might change according to different deodorants. Secret and Gillette both have clinical strength deodorants, so if your current antiperspirant isn't working, I'd give the other ones a shot.
