Will disneyland be crowded in late July on Saturday?

Me and my family are going this time because its the ONLY time we can get together as we each are busy with our own summer plans, hence, we are left with a BAD day to go to disney.

My concern is the weather and crowds (lines). My family went 6 years ago on July 7 on Sunday. It was crowded and hot in the day time but in the evening we only had a 5 min waiting for Indy (so we rode it 4x) and pirates (5x).

My question is will we get this same luck? My dad said it'll be LESS crowded this year since gas prices have gone up, making people think twice about making a trip out to disney. Is he right?

Usaully it is crowded during the weekend's.

Next time go to Disneyland During the week, because many people are working Monday-Frinday

Disneyland is always crowded..but some rides you can get on in a good 20-40 minutes..which is a decent wait considering its disneyland.

It really depends on what other people did with their summer. Alot of people might have gone earlier in summer and got it over with becuase they thought the same thing you did. So if everyone went early in the summer and had to experience what you experienced last time you went then you should have a great time. Hope this helped.

Your dad is right (so far).  This summer has had very light crowds compared to past Summers.   The gas prices probably have a lot to do with it, keeping a lot of the semi-local people(Central/Northern CA, AZ...) away.  I don't know if it will last, but unless there is a sudden influx you should be just fine.  The park won't be empty, but you also won't have huge wait times either.

yes i belive it will be! its summer and disney is always packed in the summer ppl  also fly! ppl plan there trip to disney way inadvance go gas will not matter i think! we went last year in middle aug and it was packed! i would expect the same luck but u never know! hope i helped!

well i have family comming out of state for our family reunion at disneyland.we've been doing it for a couple years now and the wait has not changed over the years and gas prices aren't stopping them either.have fun if you end up going though=)
