* My diet is already healthy about 80% of the time lol

* I would also walk 40 mins there and 40 mins back home each day I go.

*Please be honest if I need to do more.

Thanks guys! =]

  1. My advice is to take Veritas advice. It's right on the money!

  2. I used to be a personal trainer so here's some info that may help you:

**Cardio depletes your muscle so you really should incorporate light weight lifting with lots of reps. For example, pick up some 5 pound weights, lift 15 times in a row, and repeat 3 times to start. I promise you will not get bulky... girls always think lifting will give you masculine features.... it won't! You will burn so much more fat if you lift weights.

**If you do decide to lift weights, don't do the same parts of your body days in a row. Lifting weights creates microscopic tears in your muscles so switch off daily.

**Set reasonable goals! Cardio for 2 hours a day while eating healthy will definitely help you to lose weight quick, but do what you truly feel you can commit to because that's quite a lot for someone just looking to lose some weight.

**Switch it up. You want to stay consistent so that you don't get bored so I think classes at the gym are a great idea to keep you motivated.... and it's also great cross training! I used to swim competitively and I decided to pick up kick boxing while swimming and saw amazing changes in my body since I wasn't just doing the same routine anymore.

**Exercises that require balance and do not stabilize you like most gym machines do, are actually the best because you use more of your muscles.... for example, squats instead of the stair master, sit ups on the ball versus the machine that lifts your upper body (ab bench)

**Always use your core... when you are weight lifting, stand up strait, flex your abs, and focus on your breathing... your workout will be much more adequate!

**If you don't already do this, listen to MUSIC while you workout. Invest in an ipod if you don't already have one because  could not run without mine!

    Good luck! : )

  3. Yeah, but be careful cause you may over do it and i'd rather take a month or so more to lose weight than spend 3 or so recovering from injuries.

  4. That doesn't sound like a good idea dear.

2 hours is like massively insane!

    And everyday? : O

I mean that fact that you walk 40 minutes too and from is well enough.

Why not try an hour? and gradually work your way up to two.

But as for now, don't overwork yourself.

  5. If you did some light weight lifting with it, it would increase your metabolism and help you burn calories...not sure why this happens. So don't do quite as much cardio and add in weights. Together they are a killer combo for weight loss.

  6. Hey, My advice is do as much as you can but the most important thing is to keep it going don't do to much one day and not be able to not work out the next... if u can handle this level of work out the go for it if it will help you lose fast it all depends on the in-take and burning while at the gym so if you count right and do the math yes the more excise the more lose... good luck hope you reach your goal.. God bless

  7. That's a lot.  You'll wear yourself down.  And if you wear yourself down, you'll give up on it completely.

I would cut back a bit and maybe think about doing circuit training, mild weight training or Pilates along with your cardio.... But don't do any more than 5 hours a week.
