  1. It goes like this

If the White Sox win the AL Central Quentin gets it

If the Twins do it Morneau gets it....and people Quentin will not get it no matter what I hate it when fans look at the stats and go right to Homeruns....IT'S ALL ABOUT THE RBIs and BA ...in 2006 Nobody thought Morneau would win it...because he had only 31  homeruns...but he led in RBIs...and RBIs are what helps

Just by showing he has alot of RBIs while not hitting Homeruns shows he can hit it all different ways

    RBIs Morneau 108, Quentin 101

    BA Morneau .312 , Quentin .287

Homeruns Quentin 34, Morneau 21 (With that 312 average...you know he's hitting mostly doubles)

  2. No he won't he needs some power not to many Un-power hitters win the MVP . And Quentin Wont Win either it Will be Josh Hamilton with 31 HRs,118 RbIs and a .295

  3. probably not maybe quentin will but pedroia is just a sophomore but maybe he will win someday but not this season

  4. I think he will. Without Dustin Pedroia, the Red Sox would be doing awful right now.

  5. I think the AL MVP should be Carlos Quenten.

  6. NOPE

    CARLOS QUENTON

    AND

    ARAMIS RAMERIZ

  7. Not this year!

  8. not without the dred sox winning their division!

  9. I Wouldn't Count on it.

My Vote Would Go to Carlos Quentin.

He's Been More Valuable to the Chi Sox.

  10. I hope he does, but I don't think so.

I think Carlos Quentin will win the MVP.

  11. Yes!!!!!!

    Red Sox #1

  12. He's having an amazing year but I don't think he'll win the MVP.

Carlos Quentin will most likely win.  34 HR, 101 RBI's.  I think Pedroia will finish 3rd or 4th in the AL MVP race.

    Good Luck!

  13. Even if he wins the batting title and the bosox win it all its a no. He is a high average player who heated up in the second half.

There have been much more consitent, productive, and effective players such as Carlos Quentin, Josh Hamilton, and Justin Morneau. They would give it to Cliff Lee, K-Rod, or Dice-K  before they give it to Pedroia (and they never give pitchers the MVP, especially relievers who wont get the Cy Young.) Kevin Youkillis is the most deserving on Boston anyway.

Pedroia is great dont get me wrong, a real quality player in his sophmore season. He simply wont win it

He wont win it because he hasnt been a stand out. The Red Sox with the leave of Manny and injuries to Big Papi and Lowell had to make up for it. INstead of one player doing it all it was several - Youkillis, Pedroia, Jed Lowrie, a little Ellsbury, Jon Lester ya know what i mean?

Check out the stats as of September 2, 2008

    Dustin Pedroia - 15 HR, 70 RBI, .327 BA

    Carlos Quentin - 36 HR, 100 RBI, .288 BA

    Justin Morneau - 21 HR, 108 RBI, .312 BA

    Josh Hamilton - 31 HR, 118 RBI, .295 BA

    Kevin Youkillis - 24 HR, 94 RBI, .315 BA

    Cliff Lee - 2.32 ERA, 20-2, 149 K

    Daisuke Matsuzake - 2.82 ERA, 16-2, 124 K  (ON DL this year)

    Fransico Rodriguez - 2.47 ERA, 53 Saves, 67 K

  14. I doubt it.

He's been having a good year and had a terrific August, but Carlos Quentin has really been carrying the White Sox.

  15. if they win the division then yea probably so but if not i think mike avilies will take it .  he has been a great addition to the royals and can drive in runs like you wouldn't believe if the rest of the team could bat and they hit balls then the royals would be in the play offs.

  16. he definitely has a shot, he's on fire! GO SOX!!!

  17. Maybe! But, there others who will be a tough competition for him, anybody!

  18. Like someone else said (not on here) He keeps up what he is doing yes he will.
