Will dvd-5 play in all dvd players?

I am doing a project at church where we made a DVD and want to hand it out to the community. The company we chose to replicate the DVDs will be using dvd-5 format. Will that work.

Yes, DVD5 is a single layer DVD. Both it and DVD9 (dual layer) are compatible in all dvd players. Any movie you buy at the store could be either DVD5 or DVD9.

Not all discs and players are made equal. You are going to have to hand them out and then find out who cannot view them with their DVD player. Then try to work with them to find something that will work or do something else different with them. It will be trial and error. Good Luck.
