Will dvd rom pc games play on my pc in england if the games are from america?

i am going to new york and if i see a pc game. will it work on my pc even if the game is dvd format. does the dvd rom pc games have regions like normal dvds.

i know to check system requirments also for pc games!

and yes i think you will be able to play as i don't think games have regions like most movie dvd's or stuff like that have

PC games do not have region coding.  To a PC, software is software.

The only thing to worry about is localization.  Sometimes the European version of a game gets different patches and things like that.  

Every once in a while it cause problems with multiplayer games, as with most everyone has to have the same version/patch to play together.
