I'm dying my hair black I'm naturally tan but will dying my hair a darker color make me look even tanner from that face

  2. Quite the opposite! Ever take a good look at the stereotypical goths? Black hair because it makes their face look even paler!

    Try a brown [light or dark] and a nice, dark auburnburn.

Actually, I believe it does just the opposite.  I had brown hair and tried black hair.  It made my face look a little paler.  It's not horribly dramatic though, probably something you'll just notice.  It's just because the contrast is very distinct (your skin vs. black hair).  On the bright side, black hair can really make your eyes "pop".  Good Luck with the new 'do  :-)

  5. No. I'm very pale and have bright red hair when I was sick I looked dead... when not sick I look sickly. because it accentuates the paleness of my skin.

    It might be an idea to go to a hairdresser that takes photos before and with a computer darkens the hair to see what it would look like before you do it.

    Or you could post a picture of yourself and I could give it a go!

    it makes them look even more white; like paper.

    so its kinda like that.

    lol but if you are naturaly tan its perfectly fine.

    it wont make you look tanner, and it really wont make that much of a difference if you look like a 000.1 shade lighter.

  11. no, it will do the opposite... think about it, putting "tan" next to say "blonde".. which one looks darker?  the tan obviously.  now compare "tan" next to "black"... black is obviously darker and therefore makes your tan look less impressive
