  1. The current rate of population growth is not sustainable for the planet. Within 200 years, if I recall correctly the human population will be over 20 or is it 40 billion.

  2. it is now that is how we are destroying it The sheer number of Carbon Footprints is unsustainable

  3. well.. it's overpopulated for the areas that people are living in... people need to spread out! lol

  4. Hey,u needn't worry.it's already overpoputed:p

  5. yes.  It is quickly coming to that point.  The Earth can only sustain so many animals.  And with us humans destroying the environment it can't regenerate itself at it's normal speed.  For example desertification shouldn't be happening and it is killing thousands of creatures and plants every year

  6. it already is

  7. Have you ever noticed that Doritos Guacamole ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgMyrXGmD... ) look exactly like Soylent Green? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1FIKQb0a...

This is what happens when we become overpopulated.

  8. personally i don't think so because of several factors- 1) natural disasters like tsunamis and earthquakes 2) homicides and other fatal crimes 3) abstinence and birth control methods being taught in schools across the nation 4) fatal accidents like car accidents and freak accidents and 5) suicide.

  9. In the future maybe ... But as of now , we have a lot of unused land ... and more space than most people seem to realize.

  10. I totally agree with the first answer we are already more than overpopulated, at times there hardly seems room enough for the people already here.
