Will ebay every contact you via post ?

I am just setting up an account and they have asked me to fill in my address.

If I do, will I get letters and post off them ? Because I don't want to!

Not really - but if you don't add your address, how do you expect to receive goods or payments!

No - they don't ever send you anything.

If you *cough* forget *cough* to pay your sellers fee's then you do get letters, and if you still dont pay then you get a knock at the door, but in general the only mail you will ever get from them is marketing, but you can choose to opt out of that when you sign up.

Hiya

You do get letters from eBay, but they are promotional material. You can get rewarded for remembering to leave feedback on your transactions. Every now and then I get a £10 voucher code from them.

You do have the option not to recieve marketing in your account settings so you can turn that off.

The address you give is used so your buyers know where to send the money to, and for your sellers to know where to send their item =)
