    when you look at the power plant and the batteries...

    electric cars are the worst polluters on the road

  6. If we all owned an electric vehicle and at he end of the night we plugged them up to recharge them for the next day the national grid would have a heart attack!.

  7. it is a definite no.  the ultimate future will be based on solar energy because it is almost free.  gas, ethanol, electricity, all the fuel will run out faster than the sun.  to produce those fuels, coal is burnt and it is not good for the environment.  but unfortunately the company will try to squeeze your money as much as possible, so don't expect to save much in your life time.
