Will extra long twin sheets fit a regular sized twin bed? or will the extra long sheets be too large?

I'm going to college in the fall, and my school cannot guarantee that they will know which size bed I will have when I move in.

Hi, A twin size which is 39"x75" and an extra long twin is 39"x80". The twin mattress size requires a fitted sheet that is 39”x 75”, a flat sheet that is 66” x 96” and a pillow sheet that is 20” x 26”.  For the extra-long size twin you will need a fitted sheet that is 39” x 80”, a flat sheet that is 66” x 102” and a pillow case that is 20” x 26”. The twin extra long sheets will fit on the twin and the fitted sheet will be a little loose but the standard twin size will not fit the extra long. Hope this helps.

Extra long twin sheets will fit the same on a twin bed. I have a twin bed and extra long bedding.  Sometimes when you purchasee bedding online one of there options is twin extra twin. So it will basically fits the same.

The width will be the same, they will just be longer than the twin mattress.
