Will faded plastic for my blender harm baby if i use it to puree baby's food?

Question

i used hot water to sterilise my baby food's blender. the base of the blender where the blades are has faded to a tone lighter than the original colour. i have since thrown away the blender but could baby have been harmed? could she have consumed the plastic or the colour? the plastic did not melt though... so worried.

wash the blender with warm soapy water.  the color is irrelevant as it will become stained with the food products.
