Question:

Will faith in God save me?

I just want to sit on my couch all day and night, I have faith that he will keep me from starving, or ever having to move, work, or do anything again. I just want to relax.

Will God bless me if I have faith in him?

  1. If you are born again. It takes a willing heart..

  2. no

only faith in your self will save you

  3. it depends on if you honor him, will you worship God. if you will he will bless you when the time comes but not if you waste your whole life a lazy day now and again is ok(like sundays)

  4. You show me your faith.

I will show you my faith through what I do.

How can you say you have faith if you don't act on it?

Don't you know that faith operates through good deeds?  Faith without works is dead, like a body without a soul!

No, faith alone will not save you.

But also understand that you can do all KINDS of works, and THAT won't save you, either.

We are saved by grace, through faith.  It is a gift of God, not of works, so that no man can boast.

But if faith doesn't produce good works, then it's like planting corn and nothing grows from it.  It's dead and worthless.

The act of going through the motion of planting corn will accomplish nothing unless you actually use some real corn seed.

But planting the corn seed will produce stalks of corn, but nothing YOU do can make the corn to grow.  You can only do things to hinder it's growth, like withholding water (i.e. doing nothing).

No - your faith will not save you.  Not the way YOU describe it.

  5. That kind of life seems more like a curse then a blessing. Some people really can not get up and get around.Be careful what you ask for.
