  1. Your answer depends on what studies you read and who is publishing the studies. The subliminal learning people say that it does help. The sleep experts say it doesn't help.

    For me, it just interrupt my sleep cycle and means I don't get the rest that my body needs, which makes me sluggish and slow the next day (not smarter). Sometimes when I fall asleep with the TV on, I dream convoluted versions of what's on TV and I get things confused then. Hopefully, that doesn't happen to you.


  2. You'd get smarter if you got a good night's sleep and then studied the music or the history topics.
