Will female betta fish fight..?

People say they will but we tried it one but once they really saw each other we took them out so they didnt kill each other...

( they wernt really fighting )

if there is a big enough tank they wont fight ( at least ten gallons for every 3 bettas )

no they will not fight.  males will fight and eventually kill each other.

I attempted to put two female fish together and they did fight. But I just think the tank was too small for the both of them. So it is possible.

Bettas are not schooling fish, but in a large tank with many hiding spaces, female bettas can cohabit. When two females share a tank, one usually bullies the other; however, four or more females will establish a hierarchy allowing peaceful co-existence. Nevertheless, females living in community must be monitored for aggressive females.

No female betta fish will no fight. You can have them in large groups with out any problem. You cannot put males together for they will fight but females are not a problem at all
