Will female mice kill each other?

I want to add another adult female mouse into my cage of females and was wondering how to go about doing this without them fighting. If they continue to fight will they eventually kill each other? I was looking at other similar questions to this and have heard of females killing males or babies. Will they kill another adult female mouse?

  1. Female mice will usually not fight as much as male mice, but it can be harder when you already have an established group to add in new ones.  If they are just wrestling around, it isn't a big deal.  If they are biting and drawing blood, it could be possible for them to hurt/kill each other.

The best thing is to make sure you have enough space, and have them meet each other in a neutral place, like the bathtub.  That way, the established girls won't feel the need to attack/defend their territory from a newcomer.
