Will ferrets eat flies and or other insects?

I have a one year old jill and she has started to chase flies.

She's just being playful.  Ferrets love to play and will get into mischief if you don't watch them.  I had two of them once.

In the wild they do eat some insects and grubs if they come across them.  They are pretty omnivorous in their eating habits, like most Mustelids.
