Will finches result to feather plucking the other finch for nesting material?

Every time she builds a nest if you don't have some soft grass or burlap. The grass should either be cooked in the oven or frozen in the freezer. This will take care of the bugs in the grass. I prefer burlap. When they build a nest with burlap it holds up, grass breaks up and disappears. Cut the burlap in 1" squares and unravel for a nice pile of strings.
