  1. I don't know. But, I'd like to know. I had to file for Chap 7 and my 1st mortgage was not reaffirmed due to an oversight. That was in early 2008. Then, the economy and housing market tanked and I'm upside down in my mortgage. But, I'd like to know the answer to that question in the event I can no longer retain my home.
