  1. Freedom does not = chaos. We must discriminate between driving through a red light or waiting for the green, being permitted to harm others or having rules against violence. There is no one-sentence answer to this question,

  2. " He whose joy is within, whose pleasure is within, and whose light is within, that devotee, being well established  in the supreme,

    attains to absolute freedom"

  3. freedom will not be blind. freedom will see everything with no prejudice or discrimination. freedom will live and let live. freedom will be happiness =)

  4. Freedom goes hand in hand with responsibilities.  Including (and excluding) discrimination.

    Peace.

  5. If we are free to choose each - choice is a disrcrimination. "race discrimination" means the word "discrimination" has very negative conotations but it's jsut a word - a discrimination is nothing but a choice.

so no i don't aagree that freedom will be blind with no choices

Freedom will always discriminate - Choice is its power to seek out what is best. .

  6. Permissiveness has no discrimination,irresponsible.

Freedom is highly responsible using the faculty of discrimination.

  7. I think freedom has clear vision, it just does not judge worth by what it sees. Great question.

  8. great values are blind

    LOVE

    JUSTICE

    FREEDOM

but maybe they are too blind to see the naked truth.

  9. quite the contrary. Real freedom means fully controlling ones mind and senses. In that state of being the eternal living being within this body and mind takes the reigns of the mind and and controls the senses. The simplest and most practical way to control the mind and sense is to practically engage them in the Loving service of the Lord. IN this way one only eats pure vegetarian food offered to the Lord, one only smells things that have been offered for the pleasure of the Lord, one only dances and sings in Love of the Lord and for the Lord, and one only tries to hear words about the Lord and anything related to Him. This process is called Bhakti Yoga and is the perfect process for engaging the mind and senses in the Loving service of the Supreme Lord, Also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama, etc. In this way one fully controls the mind in pure consciousness and one is fully free form bondage.

    Eternal Peace to you !

  10. Yes. Well Said.

  11. Great question!!

Freedom without discrimination is like power without responsibility...... it can not be sustained...... it would backfire and prove ultimately harmful rather than beneficial even to the person who enjoys it. No wonder then that even God is not supposed to be free to send good souls to the h**l indiscriminately!!

  12. There are those who consider discrimination to be a freedom.
