With the ever-increasing possibility of US and Georgian forces squaring off with the Russians, are the days of international cooperation between the former Cold-War rivals numbered? And what, if any contingency plans have been discussed so far if things really head for the worst?

  1. Yes

  2. Hopefully none. Both countries have invested to much Money so far to be distracted from their goals in space.

As far as contingency plans  there are other countries involved  Japan, ESA, and maybe even China, to halt this program.

  3. The mere existence of the ISS in its present, is the result of the cooperation between Russian,U.S.,French,German,Canadian,Japa...

working together for the betterment of mankind.

I don't believe political scruffs would undermine this cohesion, and shouldn't.

Look at what we can do working together,as opposed to fighting each other.

  4. It wouldn't make much difference because N.A.S.A. could fall back on their C.O.T.S. program.
