  1. no, they found out that there is little outrage for high gas prices and that republicans will defend oil company gouging, so they will continue

  2. GOD i hope so.

    but i don't think so.

  3. Probably be $5 next year.

  4. That can't go all too much higher. If they keep jacking up the prices then we will start to make ethanol here in the U.S. it would get to a point where gas would cost just the same as if we made it then buying it from another country.

  5. i dont think so. i HOPE SO! $4 a gallon is ridiculous

  6. Not dramatically, other than the few cents it might drop.

  7. Not in your lifetime lovely.  The price of a barrel of oil is near $120 and climbing literally by the minute.  I heard this morning it could be $7/gallon by the end of the year.....personally, I think the economy will collapse at $5.50-6.00 because everyone will see its cheaper to stay home than work for the wages most jobs pay

  8. No - -- are you expecting gasoline to become LESS valuable?

When it's more valuable, it costs more.   Awfully mysterious, I know.

  9. If McCain makes office a continues this killing spree of this war get ready for 6 dollars or more. We will reach or surpass Europe in paying probably $7.00

  10. if it does it won't be a lot.

  11. My NY newspaper predicts it will go back down to 3.00 after the summer

  12. It isn't happening.

    We consume lot of GAS.

Gas prices will never go down till car owners drive full efficient cars.

  13. whow.. not 4$ by summer.. its only going to get to 150 by summer... but no the gas prices arnt supposed to go down, because the Chinese are now using more vehicles.. and they're needing the gas as well.. so they're selling it for more.. a lot more..  so gas prices arnt going down any time soon at all.

    gas IS in demand.

  14. make or employers pay our fuel bills

  15. No, gas prices will not go down.

  16. We may see prices drop a little, but not by much because we have shown OPEC that we are still willing to pay this cost. Why would they ever go back to lower prices when they know we need the fuel? Doesn't make good business sense.

  17. Yes, prices of oil, just like any commodity will go back down.  People will adjust, new supplies will be found.
