  1. It is doubtful after the oil companies have sunk their teeth in the money they are making now. If the war is ever over which also is doubtful it could go down some, but the prices will always stager. Plus our earths oil supply is shrinking

  2. Surely not where Im living.  Just less than two weeks ago gas was 2.89.  Today I left my house to go grab dinner across town.  When I passed the gas station gas was 3.13.  When I came back by to go home it was 3.21.  There was no gas delivery so Im not sure why this gas station likes to hike the price at random times.  Very frustrating.  The gas prices will go down again in November at Election time.  Sad but true.

  3. Hydrogen. Uranium. We're in the middle age's. You can burn wood, Corn. there is better options. than Gas and Oil.Look at the Solviet Union, They got "US" beat.

  4. Depends what you call reasonable.  Considering that gas is a limited resource and Americans are using a pretty good chunk of the world's supply, I think the current price is completely reasonable.

  5. Just think in a couple of years you will look back on the days you were only paying three dollars a gallon. Of course it' not going to go down.

  6. I hope you made a mistake and wanted to say up instead of down. Look what we are doing to our planet already. We need alternative sources to power our cars and keep our economy going. If gas were to get cheaper again no one would have an incentive to  search for a solution to the problems we are going to face in the near future.

So lets hope gas prices continue to rise, car manufacturers come up with cars that use 1/2 gallon per 100 km, and scientists develop more alternative fuel.

  7. Never.  There's a lot of oil in the world, but we've already used up all the stuff that's cheap and easy to get to.  It's costing more and more to find the next gallon of oil, and more than that, our ability to find it is starting to slow down.

Meanwhile, China and India are coming into their own with a strong middle class, and they all want suburban homes and cars to get to them... of course each of those countries has 4x the population of America, so now that's 8 times as many people wanting oil now too...

And of course all the oil war stuff, now that Bush has kicked over the beehive.   And the environmental stuff.

Oh well.  There will be new, much more efficient cars which will be better in every way.

  8. Maybe when we NUKE Iraq and Iran. Not before then

  9. no, dont think so!

  10. Not very likely.    Maybe in a few years, when electric cars and/or alternate fuel cars dominate, the money-hungry Arabs will lower their prices, but by then it will be too late for them.

  11. when america starts using the alaskan oil suppy instead of the middle east.
