Actually, I just read a news article about this.  Because more people, especially in Europe, are driving Hybrids and alternative fuel vehicles, the surplus of oil has hit a (I believe) 14 year high.  Price of gas could be $2.50 less by the middle of summer.  

I wish I could find the article, I'd link it...!

Depends on our next president....  If we get someone who's obviously tied to Cheney or Bush...we're screwed.  Only candidate that I was 100% sure wasn't connected to any of the 6 families that basically run this country was Edwards...and he dropped out.  We're doomed.  Welcome to h**l...population 285 million.

In some ways I hope so, even then American drivers will still be paying only around half to two-thirds what Europeans pay now and our prices will go up too.

back in high school in my junior year (2005-06) my US history teacher reported it did happened temporarily in the south central region of usa (around 6 dollars per gallon). it likely to happen but i doubt it depends on the war going on between the US and iraq.

if that happens then

1) find some alternative transportation such as skating, bike, bus, train, or carpool with someone you knows**

** = also youre slowing global warming which is the hot issue throughout the world.

2) walk- good for exercise; if possible then go for it

3) if you cant do any of the following then face the consequence which is to suffered

lastly, if you dont want 4 dollars per gallon toward gas, then too bad! we cant get wat we wanted- life are not always fair

They are saying we will be paying $4 a gallon by the end of this year.  I have been horse shopping lately

I don't think it'll happen this year though.

$4 a gallon means I'll stop driving and so will many other drivers.
