Will gas prices rise or lower within the week?

Question

i do not have that much gas in my tank i have about 80 miles left till i need to fill up, i cant afford to much since i'm a college student, so should i buy it now or risk it and buy it at the end of this week or next week.

i live in springfield virginia

i drive about 100 miles a week

Consider using public transportation as gas prices will likely go higher. The price of oil has risen sharply within the past week to over $80 a barrel. Good luck!

Buy enough today to get you through the week.  Gas futures are rising based on crude prices and the upcoming heating oil season, which dominates refinery time throughout the winter months.

You really should buy as much as you can afford, since every gallon you don't buy now will likely cost you more this weekend.
