  1. Yep.  African Americans will vote for Obama.

  2. Yes.  With tens of millions of voters, its a certainty that some of this will occur.  Is that really so surprising? Is it any worse than deciding based on geographic connection? or Protestant affiliation? or the European ancestry of a particular White male?

  3. Yes as it always has. But, this time the influence is more open and thus discussable.  In earlier times some African Americans, referring to how race influences the ways American conducts its business referred to the quiet institution of racism.  Now, we will get a chance to deal with it.  That is exactly what the First Amendment was written to assure can happen when the American populas becomes mature enough to handle it.

  4. Well Reagan was pretty old when he got elected both terms so I don't think voters will take McCain's age as anything against him.  I don't think the elderly will automatically vote for McCain just because he's older.

Some feminists will vote for Hillary just because she's a woman, and some Blacks will vote for Obama just because he's Black, but I think most people are more intelligent than that.  I think more educated people will vote for the candidate they think is best, no matter what gender, race, or age they are.

  5. Influence.... sure.  But there are many other factors.... hopefully most people will listen to the candidates' positions, look at their background and vote for the person they feel would best fill the job.

I have spent a lot of time looking at all 3 main candidates and am pretty much convinced that ALL of them are unelectable.

    Now what?

  6. In which country? Which election?

    And human races don't exist.

  7. I hope not. Even though I seen people not going for the issues, but rather basing their ideas on age and gender. I am tired of woman saying they want a woman in office. It should be based on who is the best out of our lousy choices this year.

  8. well who else is there then?

the also-rans are there to garner the 3-5% of undecided voters.

gender and race will play but not age...and with that John M. will be the next US pres...

    a short history lesson...

in the 232 years that the US has had presidents there have been no women or colored presidents...and i'll leave it at that

  9. Gender will not (race and age probably will)

  10. I'm doing a write in because all of the above there will influence me to do that.
