Will generals come to my house as soon as I turn 18?

No B.S. because I plan joining the navys SEAL program but my Dad keeps telling me that this will happen(I gave the Navy my info). I respect you all and all answers are appreciated. HOO-AH!

The only thing required of you at 18 is for you to register with Selective Service. Having gave your info to the Navy, a recruiter will most likely try to get in contact with you via phone or house visit. Also, there is no rank of "General" in the Navy so that automatically makes your fathers statement null and void. Since you gave your info to the Navy, they won't lend the Army or any other branch your info because they want you for themselves, so the chances of a Army General showing up as well is unrealistic.

By the way LasVegas, no one spells it even close to "HUA" but the Army, which is "Hooah", not the Marines, which is "Oo-rah." Soldier of God you'll come to learn that SEALs say "Hoo-yah"

Trident is right on the speak and for Gods sake don't get it confused or they'll hang you lol. No Generals won't come to your house and you can't join the Seals. Many men have tried and more have failed. They are the Best of the Best. Start out a grunt and try your best. Good luck and God Bless.

You have to be selected to get into the seals, or any special forces (Rangers, GB's, ETC) once you are already in the service, you don't sign up for them right off.   Unless you have some seriously extraordinary abilities that have already brought you fame, no general is going to waste his time visiting you.  Your dad is pulling your leg.

And it's HUA (Heard, Understood, Acknowledged).  And that's the Marine Corps.. not the Navy.  The SEALS aren't begging for you to show up, trust me.  You'll be very lucky if you are selected to train, and it'll be a miracle if you survive to the end.   Good luck.
