Will getting high make you more a more creative musician?

If I got high would I unlocked some creativity in my head and let the ideas flow from my brain to my fingers?

No. Creative people are creative and non-creative people sit around trying to figure out how to be creative. Getting high will only make you lazier than you appear to be.

No. If a person is born creative, he'll need no extreme means to unlock his skills, furthermore, you can use sensible stuff (i.e. things, person, you love) as inspiration to make you a creative musician

What it's most likely to do is make you THINK you're making something creative and then when you come off it you'll realize it's just nonsensical c**p.

The thing is, people may THINK it's making them more creative, but that's because when you're high, you THINK you rule the world for pete's sake.

The question should be "Is it worth getting high and killing brain cells so that I can THINK I'm a more creative person for say ... twenty or thirty years until I realize I have also forfeited many of my memories of the past for the sake of having a buzz?"

Oh. But then, that question would be too long, wouldn't it?
