  1. No.

  2. as far as we know we dont know how he going to be.

so tongiht will see. but the way he is pitch to is a totally diffrent.

  3. of course.hes one of the most feared hitters in the game.it amy take him a while to get back to form but he will defianetly help them.the red sox are tied with the rays right now.adding a hitting such as ortiz will surely give them a giant boost and its a big upgrade to their offense

  4. Maybe it'll be enough to kill the Rays chances of winning the divison or it will make them push to get Brian Fuentes.

  5. It certainly will help. The division title depends on pitching, especially the bullpen. Even if they do win the division, playoff wins really depend on pitching.

  6. It all depends how often he frequented the juice bar in his time off.  That's the sticking question, so to speak.

  7. of course it will.

cause now the sox will get so many runs it doesn't matter if the bullpen sucks or not.

  8. No. Ortiz will only slow the team down. they rushed him back to soon.

  9. Nope.  Remember he was horrible prior to hurting his wrist.  He is going to turn it on all of a sudden?  Plus now Manny is upset at the Red Sox, so Ortiz doesn't have Manny protecting him anymore...

  10. I think so.

  11. He certainly won't hurt, but he said himself that he's not 100% so it may take a while for him to be himself, but he will help for sure.

  12. Of course it will.

They're tied. Don't you think getting one of the best hitters in baseball will help? Having Papi allows the Sox to totally renew their lineup. Now you can have Drew in the 5th slot and Lowell then Youkilis in the 7th hole. How many teams have a hitter like Youk batting 7th? Having Papi will give the lineup so much more depth and even if he doesn't perform right away, it will help them a lot.

  13. It will help but they still need to pitch well.
