Will global warming have any effect on the winter season?

Question

regardless if its because of human activity on the environment or if its just because the the planet is going through the next phase of its natural cycle.

Will we have a drier & shorter winter this year?

Global warming is about weather extremes, because it doesn't just warm up the atmostphere, it throws the whole ecosystem off.  Winters are longer, wetter and colder.  The non-believers use this as examples that global warming is a myth when it's really a prime example that it's really happening.

I don't know because the weather almanac (which has been proven to be true in most cases) said that we're going to have a longer and colder winter this year, especially in the month of december. so we'll see i guess.
