  1. We don't know. Some of the models of possibleclimate change show that melting of polar ice could change the course of the Gulf Stream--which brings warm water to the coasts of Norgh America and Europe.  If that happened, it would result in much cooler  in those regions. Ironic---they would be cooler even though the rest of the planed would be warmer!.

Such cooling could trigger new glacier formation--a sort of "mini-Ice ae."  If this proved to be the case, however, dn't worry.  The process would take centuries.

Note, however--this is a HYPPOTHESIS, not a certainty.

  2. Not in the forseeable future.

For a while scientists were worried that global warming might cause problems with ocean currents that keep Europe unusually warm.

But the latest data indicates that thi effect will, at most, slow the rate of warming of Europe a bit.

    Nowhere else was really threatened.

  3. From what I heard it's supposed to.

It'll melt huge amounts of ice, cooling things down immensely in some areas, which will create an ice age.

  4. No.

  5. It's already here. Check the link.

  6. first global warming alter climatic conditions of various regions there will be no antartica, europe will have heat waves, there will be no rain in india

  7. What if it does?...like anyone going to do something about it.

  8. Some think it just might!

  9. Yep. Or so the experts tell us. No telling if there will be any people left around by then.

  10. Some say yes....some say NO!! but it's an unpredictable future that we are going to have to watch out for. as i said some said yes!! and some said NO!!(and some made a movie about it...Independent day)

  11. Feels like an ice age right now.

  12. The Earth is growing, we on Earth are in transition and if we can not adapt to the change we will go extinct. Our options are few and we must embrace new technological events and go looking for a less hostile planet. It is not bad now, just wait another billion years. If you want to have an idea what is to come of this planet just look at Jupiter, Saturn or Neptune.

  13. Earth goes through cycles. First it heats up, then it cools down. It happens through millions of years and there has been several ice ages in the past.

Since humans add to the pollution so tremendously, and causing the process of global warming to happen faster. I believe that by that we are speeding up the ice age, since we're not just warming the earth we are altering the climate dramatically.

So yes, global warming eventually leads to ice age
