Will going to CTY increase your chance of getting into a good college?

if my college application says i have been accepted to CTY will it increase my chance to get in a good college??

I'd definitely put it on your application in the section that asks you what programs you've been in. Colleges like to hear that you were doing something productive with your summer (an educational program, internship, job, volunteering, etc). It surely would not hurt your chances of getting into schools (especially JHU) though grades and SAT scores are also very important factors.

And I'm sure you're already planning on doing this but when you find two or three teachers to do your college recommendations (preferably by junior year) you should give them an extensive activities, athletics, and awards list by senior year that they can use to right your recommendation.
