Question:

Will gravel eventually ruin a car?

If I drive at a reasonable speed, maybe 70km/h, maybe 80km/h, with a car such as a Mustang, would that ruin it? How often would I need to clean it to prevent damage, once a week? To get to school its basically a 30 minute drive with only a fifth of that being pavement. Would any of this ruin a car over time, even if I made sure I took all of the precautions I could... Which I don't know what precautions I could take either, so tell me those too. Thanks. :)

  1. it wont ruin the car but it will chip the paint up on it,the gravels get stuck in the tires and eventually sling out causing chips in the paint and if they aren't repaired rust can form and that causes problems with it,but it wont actually ruin it ,the damage can always be repaired.good luck.

  2. There are only two good things about gravel. It's fun to drive on if your a 10/10 ths driving machine.

And it does a super job of sandblasting the paint and rust off the frame and lower body of your car.

  3. I ruined the clutch on my camaro by driving on the beach.
