Will guppies and platies school together?

It seemed like it the past months and I thought they are all livebearers but they just do everything together even the 3 month old guppies and the 2 month old platies do everything together even under this artifical log they sleep together

they both have big fins so dont put them with fin nippers but they are most commonly found together than any other fish

Yes. One of my tanks has guppies, platys, and mollies in it and they all swim together, eat together, and breed with each other. I have some fry that are part guppy and part platy.

they can school together if they want to.My platies school with my mollys some times.If they like eachother or feel comfetable,if you have any other fish that are agrisive can scare the platies and guppys.So they school together to be more comfetable.
