I've always heard that the drivers forget their aches and pains once they're strapped in and the race starts. Sometimes they even do better - Stewart's won races when he had the flu. Hamlin's young - he might be a little sore, but he'll be fine.

I doubt it. He doesn't really drive with his hip. Shifting, gas, brake, ok but he's sitting down. The slide in and out of the car will hurt but Denny'll suck it up. And not whine. I hope.

If Ricky Rudd is tough enough to win a race with his eyes taped open, Hamlin would look like a wimp if a bruised hip slows him down.

Denny will be good to go this weekend especially at Darlington. In two starts he has finished 10th or better including a 2nd place run last year while leading 179 laps. Denny will most definitely be a top ten car but I think he'll have a top five car and he'll be a contender for the victory.

Probably not but it will affect how his boss sleeps. Joe Gibbs lives right next door to Denny and the flood lights from Hamlin's basketball court shine right in Joe's bedroom window. It has been reported that Denny has been staying up late and playing basketball with his buddies and that is how he hurt his hip.
