I hope it doesnt become international. Its afl for a reason- AUSTRALIAN football league. Not World football league. Lets keep it that way. Tassie are a long way off getting a side at this present moment but i think it will have a side one day.

Yes, because all the other countries hate Aussie rules, Accept for the odd place in Birmingham, UK. or china, or south africa. Plus the Aussie rules people are too proud of its, even if other countries wanted it to become international, the vics would just say no and wouldn't consider the pride of representing there country. Only Rugby and Rugby League have that pride (and soccer)

Yes. Unfortunately it's a piddling little island at the bottom of Australia. So the sense of accomplishment on the world stage might be a bit subdued.

The AFL seem much keener on getting a team on the Gold Coast or another one in Sydney, which is why I think that one of those teams will happen before one forms in Tassie.**
