I have a bad altitude towards running. If I change that to a good altitude and like running, will I run better and eventually get faster?

  1. I think you will, at least a little bit. If you enjoy running, you're more likely to stick with and, thus, getting better and faster.

  2. I read in a magazine that if you have a positive attitude during running you will not get tired as easy. Also when I run and think to myself that I can run this many miles and I can get through it a usually do and am less likely to stop and walk. Staying positive and keeping your mind off how you may be uncomfortable will make you forget about it and make you less tired, more comfortable and since you are less tired you can even get faster.

  3. running is as much, if not more, of a mental sport as it is a physical sport. you have to be motivated to run and want to work hard. try telling yourself why you run. good luck!
