Will having my period effect my yeast infection tratment?

i have a yeast infection, i went to the dr and he game me some meds that i have to take vaginaly, not oraly

but now i have gotten my period, so shoudl i wait till my periods gone. or should i stat the treatment or what ????????????

You can use the treatment but don't use tampons if you do.  Tampons suck up all the medicine and the it won't work and you'll have to get more, so if you use the medicine then stick with pads.

Nope! You should start the treatment as he prescribed. Your period will have no effect on the medication.

since you started your period ,tell your doctor and see what he or she advises you to do as treatment for the yeastie beastie. I would suggest talking to your doctor about a oral medication to treat the infection as well.
