  1. they should b ok i raised lots of chicks and they were grand of course there is the possibility of it happening but dont worry about it and i seriously doubt if an owl would take an adult goose owls are nocturnal and the geese would b all snuggled up by then

  2. Unless they are kept in a wildlife proof pen..just about any animal having access to the area they are in will kill them.

  3. They will not only attack them but will come back , if successful , the mother will not be quick enough  to do anything but look on ,

  4. They can but its not common. If it happens, it will and there's not alot you can do to protect them. The parents will always do their best and will be protective but sometimes that sort of thing happens. Hopefully it won't, and the chances are small.

  5. Both hawks, and especially owls, will kill them.  Owls will kill parents too.

  6. Hawks can get them if they stray too far away from the parents. I used to have ducks, chickens and geese. While the young  were small, I always kept them and the moms in a pen until they were old enough to help defend themselves. Hawks are strong and have very sharp beaks and talons. Grown chickens were no match for the hawks and were eaten at times if a hawk was slick enough to catch one. Just to be safe, I'd pen them up in a large pen for a while!
