Will he ever outgrow his bad taste in ditzy girls?

The guy I like has always been attracted to the ditzy cheerleader type who is stuck up. He is 21 but still always dating high school girls who to me, just seem boring and so typical.

I, however, am real and very down to earth. Me and this guy have everything in common, yet he's said he only finds strong attractions to the girls mentioned above. If we had a relationship, it would be perfect. He is attracted to me but doesn't find that "zing", like some girls do with the bad boy type, for example.

I don't want to change myself but besides his taste in girls, this guy I feel is the one for me. Will he ever grow out of the types of girls he's choosing, or do some men just constantly go for that type? I want a chance!

um, there's something wrong with a 21 year old dating high school girls. maybe the problem isn't you, it's him and his bad taste. that says a lot about him. find a man that wants a woman and can handle one like you. he dates ditzy girls maybe because he's immature, superficial, and can boss one around more. you don't want that.

I am past 40 and unfortunately it seems men never do. For the long term however, I don't think they all choose this type. Since I am not that type, I have trouble getting dates. It stinks to be single if you are over 40!

He still has some growing up to do!  Just stay his friend and maybe eventually he will see the person you are and get tired of those girls and start to see you in a different light!  Might be awhile though!  Also don't judge those girls, you just pushing him away bydoing that!  Those girls probably see you as boring and dull!!

go on a trip or something and go for a bit without speaking to him see how he reacts, maybe he will realize he needs you more then he thinks

Babe, believe me you don't! He sounds immature to some extent and as you said, you are not his type, even though he is yours. Go out, meet other guys, date somebody who is attracted to you and will respect you for who you are.
