Okay, I really wanted a jumper, and I bought this horse about 4 months ago. Here is some info on him...

He's 15.1 hh. (I know, he's a little guy..)

He's got QH/TB/ and possibly Standardbred in him.

Overall, he's a pretty small horse, in width/length and height.

Just critique his jumping position and his overall look. Does he look like a jumper to you?

  1. he could definatley do the jumpers he has awsome  jumping position. if he can move fast he should have no problem at all

in the jumpers not the hunters its not about how pretty they are just how fit they are. how fast they can clear the jumps

  2. I love how well he tucks his legs.  And I do think he would make a good jumper.  He is a nice looking horse too.  He seems to have a nice coat also.  I like how well he extends his back legs too.  Nice pictures you took!

  3. e looks really nice. He has a round jump and is probablly pretty scoopy... and he looks like he likes it :) He looks like a TB/Warmblood and no one would even think twice if you entered him in a hunt class! :) Nice find

  4. Yeah he looks lovely! Nice horse and a scopey jump!

  5. He's really cute :). I think he will be pretty good; he's got long legs and he tucks his feet well. You guys are a good fit.

  6. i knew a horse, we called him razz, who was about that hight, he was a great jumper, and competed with the lager horses.  the owner jumped him well over 5 foot jumps, i think even up to 6-7 maybe 8 ft. ( i didnt see exactly what hole they had the jumps on, but i seen the horse jump a coarse for a show that was higher then i jumped, at 4ft. the girl loved to show jump the horse, and they did wonderful together) i do know our trainer pushed the girl to jump higher corses, it was safe tho.

if the horse likes to jump, can jump, then it can compete with the larger horses.  good luck

  7. looks great to me :D

  8. yes, sure does, u r very lucky, a bit more experience and you will be up there with the 17hh TB's.

  9. He looks very nice. You two fit each other well. I think that he would look very muscular if you clipped him. Very nice. :-)

  10. he defiantly looks good

  11. ever hear of the horse theodore oconnor he's only 14.2 hh and he came in third against all the big guys they call him the little horse with the big heart, your horse should do just fine with proper training, and if he likes jumping all the better. good luck

  12. Dakota S is right on the money. The saddest news is Teddy was put down last week after a freak accident at the O'Connor barn.

Your horse is a doll. He looks to have great potential. Treat him like "the winner he is" as between the ears is where the real skills come from. Ask any Olympic caliber athlete. (And give him a carrot from me!)

  13. I think he looks FANTASTIC. About the really high jumps... i'm not sure. I think that he could make it even if hes a little guy. As long as you keep working on him, he'll be GREAT!

    Have FUN!

  14. He looks perfect!

  15. he looks really good over the jump and he tucks his legs in really nicely and is really tidy over the fence

you should do really well on him
