Will honda start making cars for nascar?

At this time Honda is not looking at NASCAR instead they are focusing on F1 and open wheel at this time.

Why not, Honda's are manufactured in the US. Given the state of affairs at GM, Ford, and Chrysler these days, someone is going to have to supply cars to NASCAR after these 3 declare bankruptcy.

National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. Key word there is "NATIONAL" not International. Toyota is bad enough. And to all you rice lovers h**l yeah we have problem with Toyota being in NASCAR, It started here America, and should stay that way!!!!! Plus Toyota does not have a passenger car or sports car with a V8.

What's with all these discriminating NASCAR fans in here, hating on foreign automobiles? Afraid the j**s are taking over the world? Puhhhhhleazzze. It is just NASCAR. Just because the Japanese have superior automobiles doesn't mean they won't win every race. I am sure they will let a Chevy win a couple, maybe even a Ford every now and then. Probably not Dodge, though. Do not lose sleep because there is a foreign automobile in NASCAR. And if you do, you live a sad existence anyway.

Personally, if they do I'll gladly never watch NASCAR again. I have a major hatred towards Toyota, and any other manufacture would just push me over the edge. In todays NASCAR too many yuppies got their hands on things and have done a very great job of demoralizing the sport. All the old time greats that are dead are for surely rolling over in their graves.

I passed by a Honda Dealership..and they had HUGE Hendrick Motorsports banners....it said..that Honda supports Hendrick Motorsports...2 Huge banners.  Sooo...i think Honda maybe in the not-so-distant future.  It some-what has its foot in the door....

A Civic in Nascar, hahahaha. They really don't have a model to fit the mold except maybe the Accord. We'll see, I hate Honda more than any other brand so it will give me something to boo.

George Carlin was right!(bless his recent departed soul) It's called the Pussification of America. Camry's in Nascar with pushrod V8's! That's silly enough. I know alot of innovative Hot Rodder's and have traveled to far extreme's for car's and I don't know anybody with a 'V8-Camry'! That's a near Oxymoron isn't it? Along with 'Cool-Camry' or 'Sweet-Civic'!

I'll keep my Honda's in the back of my GMC and in my auntie's garage. Not in Nascar.

I doubt it, their market isn't big enough in America to start putting there brand's on NASCAR cars.
