Will hurricane gustav hit baton rouge badly??

  1. I would say from experience and from the news no you do not need to evacuate...but be mindfull you will likely get a lot of heavy rain and flooding.


  2. Not really.Besides,that's where many people in my area decided to go for evacuation anyway,lol. I live in Houma,and we're right in the storm's path...

  3. No, your in-land as it is right now; You don't need to leave; Unless the storm turns for the worst.

Baton Rouge will likely experience periods of rather strong and gusty winds along with heavy rainfall by late Monday morning through Tuesday...though the winds will decrease during the afternoon and evening hours Monday as Gustav weakens.  I doubt you will need to evacuate but watch out for the high likelihood of flooding.
