Will i b involved in lawsuit if i customized a branded shirt n re-sell it?

for example i bought a plain white tee from some boutique, then i went back n customized it. after tat i re-sell it 2 someone i dunno. i wan 2 noe m i 'breaking' the law if i do tis. thanks.
