  1. i think you should rest longer.

i didnt rest longer after i injured my foot and now its permanently damaged.

rest a little bit longer. then when its time for P.E go to your doctor and ask them to send in a note letting the teachers know what activities you can and cannot do.

  2. You will not be fine and waiting is a waste of time.

Read and apply http://www.helium.com/tm/148271 to fix your foot. This is not going to be easy or fun, but your choices are do it any way or suffer discomfort and inconvenience for the rest of your life. Unhealed injuries create complications making the problem worse as you age and you have a very long time to age/suffer.

  3. defently not!!!!

thats far to early for the bone, ligament, muscles etc to heal after an accident like that..

there is no way your doctor or physio will allow you to do p.e right now! did you have to have surgery to correct the damage done?

a doctors note will excuse you from P.E for as long as necessary. you must not do so until they say its "safe" for you to do so.

it does not matter what the school thinks, i was off P.E  for over a year due to an injury to my knee, and they cant "make" you do it! it would be on their head if you damage yourself further because of them.

  4. First off, I'm really sorry about your accident. Sounds very, very painful. I'm glad you have begun your recovery. But I would suggest just going to your doctor and explaining everything you have to us to him and ask him his advice. If he thinks you should rest he will give you a note to give to your teachers. Good luck! And I don't blame you for not wanting to do P.E. on that foot.
