Will i be able to get my drivers permit in ny if..?

i fail the seeing test. i can see almost perfect, but for some reason i always fail the seeing tests (probably because i cant see really small letters from far away). would i still be able to get my permit if i fail that though? or will they make me get glasses or something?

No, you have to be able to pass an eye exam in NY before getting your permit.  It will be the same once you get your license every time you need to do a renewal.  If you can't pass the eye test you'll need to go to an eye doctor for an exam (some places will conduct a quick "DMV eye exam" for a few bucks).  The eye doc. will need to complete the MV-619.  Once you have that, take that form with you to the DMV when you apply for the permit.  The DMV will accept that form and won't make you take another eye test.  Good luck to you.
